The Silver Lake Volleyball team had a great win on Saturday morning to kick off Homecoming.  The girls defeated Sandwich in 3 sets, 25-21, 25-22, and 25-12.  The Lakers were led by Michela Cotten (14-17 serving, 3 aces, 2 kills, 18 digs).  Cat Donovan had 6 hits, 2 kills, and 6 blocks at the net.  Emilee Dwyer went 14-17 serving with 2 aces and had 10 hits, 5 kills and 1 block.  Julia Tarantino and Heather Fox did a great job setting our hitters so the team could stay aggressive offensively.  Amanda Harris and Hannah Mitchell played well defensively.  The team is hoping to continue with strong team play when they face North Quincy at home on Monday.
